Devious Machines have recently introduced another expansion for their powerful multi-effects plug-in, Infiltrator 2. As its name suggests, Rhythmic Filters focuses on all things filter-related, and includes a collection of 252 presets that have been designed to deliver instant groove, movement and inspiration.

Everything included aims to spark new ideas quickly, and promises to bring instant energy and character to users' tracks without requiring hours of tedious programming. The company describe the content as a huge variety of wubz, expressive rhythms, acid squelches, bassline grooves, modular-style sequences, wobbles, formant patterns and pulsating effects , and say there's enough on offer to satisfy producers of just about any genre. Each patch also features a set of macro controls that offer both additional sound-shaping and automation possibilities.

Rhythmic: A comprehensive collection of rhythmic filter patterns for adding movement, groove and energy to any sound source.
