Elite range gains giant 24-inch powered sub
The latest expansion of Yorkville's Elite range introduces what the company say is the world's first active 24-inch PA subwoofer. With a peak power output of 5000W and a maximum SPL of 143dB, the EL24S promises to satisfy even the most demanding low-end reinforcement requirements.
Housed in a rugged 15mm birch plywood enclosure, the new arrival measures 798 x 709 cm x 991 mm (31.4 x 27.9 x 39 inches) and weights a chunky 109kg (240lbs). It employs a 24-inch driver with a six-inch voice coil, spans a frequency range of 30 - 100 Hz (-3dB) and is capable of delivering a continuous output of 137dB. Inputs are provided by rear-panel XLR/TRS combo sockets, while a set of four XLR sockets offer both full-range and high-passed outputs for feeding additional speakers.
