Lewitt introduce Space Replicator Free

Free version of virtual mixing room plug-in introduced

Lewitt's Space Replicator plug-in provides users with a virtual monitoring environment that aims to make mixing on headphones a more comparable experience to working on monitors in a well-treated space. It was recently treated to an update that introduced a new virtual room option, standalone operation and a range of other improvements, and now, Lewitt have announced the launch of a completely free version.

Space Replicator Free delivers the core functionality of the fully featured version but with a single mixing room option - Lewitt's very own Studio a - and a reduced set of reference systems. Support is still provided for over 800 headphone models, allowing users to calibrate the software for use with their existing cans, and the new freebie also boasts the standalone operation introduced with the recent update, making it easy to take advantage of Space Replicator's functionality outside of a DAW.

Compatibility Space Replicator Free is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or later, and Macs running macOS 12 and above. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
