Popular pedalboard PSU gets an upgrade

The DC7 v2 is a new and improved version of CIOKS' renowned effects pedal PSU, and is said to be the thinnest, most flexible power supply currently on the market. The design overhaul introduces some internal optimisations that have been designed to allow the unit to run a little cooler, along with a USB-C outlet that delivers three times more power than the previous model.

As with its predecessor, the new arrival is equipped with seven isolated outputs. Voltage is selectable on a per-outlet basis, and all seven outputs deliver up to 660mA (6W at 9V), providing enough power to satisfy the likes of the Line6 HX series and Neural DSP's Quad Cortex systems. There's also a USB-C outlet, which has been upgraded and now boasts a maximum output of 3A / 15W, and a 24V DC outlet designed to allow users to expand their system with an additional isolated supply.
