Reason Studios launch Reason Free

Free collection includes 15 instruments

Reason Studios have recently launched a free version of their popular Reason Rack plug-in that comes bundled with a selection of instruments, effects and tools sources from their DAW software. Reason Free runs as a VST3, AU or AAX plug-in, making 15 popular Reason Devices available directly in users' existing DAWs, with no trial, expiration or watermark.

Reason Free also opens the Rack Extension marketplace to every user. Producers can further customise their Rack by choosing from hundreds of additional free and paid instruments and effects from Reason Studios and independent developers - many of which are available exclusively in the Reason ecosystem - without purchasing the full Reason software.

Compatibility Reason Free is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or above, and Macs running macOS 11 and higher. VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available.
