The latest arrival to Gator's Frameworks family introduces a new heavy-duty boom stand that's been designed for serious studio duties. The Frameworks Studio Mic Boom 2000 features a weighted base along with locking castors and a counterbalanced boom, allowing for controlled positioning of heavier microphones.

The stand features a cast iron weighted base along with an integrated counterweight and reinforced boom, helping it to maintain balance under load. Adjustable height and boom controls and a rotating boom extension rod allow for precise placement, while the company's Soft-Catch Drop Safety system cushions downward movement when lowering the upper section, helping to protect valuable mics as users make adjustments to the stand's height and positioning. Thanks to three locking castors, the stand can be held firmly in place once it's been positioned.
