September 9, 2024 - In 2010, the murder of Eliza Samudio, involving former goalkeeper Bruno, shocked the country and made headlines worldwide. Now, 14 years later, this story gains a new perspective in the Netflixs documentary An Invisible Victim: The Eliza Samudio Case, permiering on September 26. The film unveils previously neglected details of the case, bringing new insights to light.

The documentary delves into the events leading up to Eliza Samudios disappearance and includes testimonies from key individuals involved in the case. Despite eight people being convicted for her kidnapping and murder, Elizas body was never found.

The film also features exclusive access to conversations and messages Eliza exchanged with friends, revealing an intimate side of the victim that was overlooked at the time of the crime.

An Invisible Victim: The Eliza Samudio Case is a Netflix documentary produced by Boutique Filmes, written by Carol Pires and Caroline Cavalcanti Margoni, and directed by Juliana Antunes.

ABOUT AN INVISIBLE VICTIM: THE ELIZA SAMUDIO CASE

Logline: In 2010, the disappearance of the model Eliza Samudio and her four-month-old son made headlines in Brazil and around the world. The main suspect was the childs father, Bruno, the goalkeeper and captain of Flamengo, an idol for the countrys largest fan base. Eight people were convicted for the kidnapping and murder of Eliza, but to this day, her body has never been found, leaving a web of mysteries and contradictions. The narrative from the perspective of the victim, Eliza Samudio, has never been shared and contains shocking secrets that will soon be revealed. This investigation follows intriguing leads, drawing the audience further into the dark circumstances surrounding Elizas death.
