Netflix Premieres Docuseries Angi: Fake Life, True Crime on May 1Play Video

On May 1st, Netflix will premiere the original docuseries Angi: Fake Life, True Crime. Consisting of two episodes, it analyses the murder of young Ana P ez, at the hands of Mar a ngeles Molina ( Angi ) in 2008. This case was referred to by the media as The Near-Perfect Crime and Angi is currently serving a sentence for it. The series also sheds light on Angis past, her marriage to Juan Antonio lvarez Litben, and the businessmans death in 1996.
The police and judicial proceedings into the death of lvarez Litben and the testimony of family members and people close to both cases are part of the never before published material that viewers will have access to for the first time. Carlos Agull (Rosa Perals Tapes, The Challenge: 11M) has directed this miniseries: The investigation surrounding Angi: Fake Life, True Crime has been laborious and also revealing. In addition to the proceedings, we have reviewed more than 2,000 pages of case files, crime reports, and family files. We have also conducted more than 60 conversations and interviews with retired police officers, private detectives and those close to both cases. We have faced a multifaceted investigation, as many as Angis multiple identities. It has been a challenge, a real game of mirrors, and we hope that the viewer can experience the same challenge .
Angi: Fake Life, True Crime, created by Brutal Media (Bank Under Siege, Rosa Perals Tapes), produced by Carol Saliner under the direction of Carlos Agull , will premiere on Netflix on May 1st, 2025.

In movie theaters, we have released films like La Vampira de Barcelona (winner of 5 Gaud Awards, including Best Film, and Audience Award at the Grimmfest and at the Festival de Cine Fant stico de Catalunya-Sitges) and the Rom-Com I Love You, Stupid (TVE, Netflix, TV3) with Quim Guti rrez, Natalia Tena and Ernesto Alterio.
We are also responsible for the return to television of the quiz show El Rival m s d bil (Mediaset) and successful factual programs such as El Foraster (3Cat) - which after 9 seasons is still the leading programme in Catalonia -, El Paisano (RTVE), and Aix no s una can (3Cat), a program selected by INPUT 2024 as an innovative format.
