
Four Boston Conservatory Alumni Nominated for Tony Awards Fifteen alumni from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Berklee College of Music contributed to nominated productions ahead of this year's Tony Awards ceremony.

Boston Conservatory alum Andrew Durand (BFA 08) received his first Tony nomination in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his role in Dead Outlaw.
Four alumni from Boston Conservatory at Berklee have been nominated for 2025 Tony Awards in the major categories of Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical, and Best Revival of a Play. In total, 15 Berklee alumni contributed to eight Tony-nominated productions this year.
Boston Conservatory alum Andrew Durand (BFA 08) received his first Tony nomination in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his role in Dead Outlaw. He has been recognized by the Drama Desk, Drama League, and Lucille Lortel awards for his performance in the musical; he won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Lead Performer in an Off-Broadway Musical for Dead Outlaw in 2024.
Boston Conservatory alum Jennifer Simard (BFA 92) received her third Tony nomination in the category of Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for her work as Helen Sharp in Death Becomes Her. She was nominated in the same category for her work in Company in 2022 and Disaster! in 2016.
Producers Ben Simpson (BFA 11) and Joe Longthorne (BFA 12)-both Boston Conservatory alumni-were nominated in the category of Best Revival of a Play for Romeo + Juliet. Simpson has received four Tony Awards for his production work on Merrily We Roll Along, Parade, The Band's Visit, and Hello, Dolly!. Longthorne received a 2018 Tony Award for coproducing The Bands Visit with Simpson.
Boston Conservatory alumni also performed in the ensembles of various productions nominated for Tonys this year. Sir Brock Warren (BFA 08) and Bud Weber (BFA 09) are in the company of Best Musical nominee Death Becomes Her. Zach Jones (BFA 16) stars as Angie and Brendan Sheehan (BFA 24) stars as Yonkers in Gypsy, nominated for Best Revival of a Musical. Niani Feelings (BFA 17) is a swing in Pirates! The Penzance Musical, also nominated in the same category.
Boston Conservatory alum Jack Noseworthy (BFA 87) produced the new musical Real Women Have Curves, which was nominated in the category of Best Score and features fellow Boston Conservatory alumni Tatianna C rdoba (BFA 22) and Christopher Ramirez (BFA 14).
Berklee College of Music alumni also contributed to several Tony-nominated productions this year. Hiro Iida (PDM 89) is the electronic music designer for Dead Outlaw, nominated for Best Musical. Lizzy McAlpine 20 stars as Nellie Collins in Floyd Collins, nominated for Best Revival of a Musical, while Rashidra Scott (BM 04) is a standby for Norma Desmond in Sunset Blvd. in the same category.
The 78th Annual Tony Awards, hosted by 2023 Boston Conservatory honorary doctorate recipient Cynthia Erivo, will air live on CBS and Paramount+ on Sunday, June 8, 2025.
