Santiago, 25 de octubre de 2022 - El Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata anunci hoy que Ardiente paciencia, la primera pel cula chilena de Netflix, ser parte de la programaci n del festival en su 37 edici n que se celebrar entre el 3 y el 13 de noviembre de 2022 en Mar del Plata, Argentina.
Ardiente paciencia cuenta la historia de Mario (Andrew Bargsted), el hijo de un pescador que se convierte en el cartero de Isla Negra, donde conoce al poeta Pablo Neruda (Claudio Arredondo) y con quien entabla una profunda amistad. Con su ayuda, Mario empezar a aprender poes a y crear nuevos versos para intentar conquistar a Beatriz (Vivianne Dietz), la mujer de sus sue os.
El filme, dirigido por Rodrigo Sep lveda (Tengo miedo torero, Aurora, Padre Nuestro), se presentar en la categor a Galas que re ne una selecci n de las mejores pel culas internacionales fuera de competencia. Luego de su proyecci n en el festival, Ardiente paciencia tendr su estreno mundial este 7 de diciembre en Netflix.
