Netflix's much-awaited crime thriller Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders will have its world premiere at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, which the film will gear up for its global release on Netflix on 19th December, inviting audiences worldwide to step into a gripping noir world as a shocking case unravels, and Jatil is pushed into a maze where every step is uncertain and the truth is anything but simple

Directed by Honey Trehan and written by Smita Singh, the film returns to the universe first introduced in Raat Akeli Hai, bringing back Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Inspector Jatil Yadav, the sharp, uncompromising investigator now facing one of his darkest and most complex cases yet.

Produced by RSVP and MacGuffin Pictures, the film boasts a powerful ensemble featuring Radhika Apte, Chitrangda Singh, Deepti Naval, Rajat Kapoor, Revathy, Ila Arun, Sanjay Kapoor, and Akhilendra Mishra, each adding layers of intrigue and emotional depth to the narrative.

Set in Kanpur, the story begins when the affluent and well-known Bansal family from the heart of Uttar Pradesh is found brutally murdered in their mansion. Jatil Yadav is drawn into a web of power, deception, blind faith, and long-buried secrets, where every suspect hides a motive and every revelation peels back another layer of darkness.

Developed in collaboration with our long-standing partners RSVP and MacGuffin Pictures, the film brings back Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Inspector Jatil Yadav, whose quiet strength and complexity continue to resonate. Backed by a stellar ensemble, this new whodunit delivers the intrigue audiences loved, while building on the mood and world that first drew them in, with an entirely new case.
