Uma nova economia para os artistas brasileiros Em 2025, a m sica dos artistas brasileiros gerou aproximadamente R$ 2 bilh es somente no Spotify. Esse n mero cresceu 24% em rela o ao ano anterior, superando o crescimento total do mercado fonogr fico brasileiro. Para ter dimens o: os royalties gerados por artistas brasileiros no Spotify cresceram a quase o dobro da taxa do mercado como um todo.
E esse crescimento n o est concentrado no topo. O n mero de artistas brasileiros que geraram mais de R$ 1 milh o no Spotify mais que dobrou nos ltimos tr s anos. Os royalties gerados por artistas ou selos independentes brasileiros no Spotify em 2025 superam a m dia global de aproximadamente metade. Fazer uma carreira sustent vel de m sica no Brasil nunca dependeu t o pouco de estar no topo.

O portugu s ganhou o mundo De todos os idiomas que geraram mais de US$ 100 milh es no Spotify em 2025, o portugu s foi o que mais cresceu: +26% em rela o ao ano anterior e +51% em dois anos, superando ingl s, espanhol e coreano.
A expans o do idioma tem uma hist ria muito brasileira: funk foi o g nero de maior crescimento global entre os que geraram mais de US$ 100 milh es no Spotify em 2025, com alta de 36% em rela o ao ano anterior, frente do K-Pop, Trap Latino, Urban Latino e Reggaeton.
Como o dinheiro chega at os artistas O Spotify recebe dinheiro de duas fontes: assinantes do plano Premium e anunciantes que sustentam a vers o gratuita. Cerca de dois ter os desse valor pago aos detentores de direitos (gravadoras, distribuidoras, editoras e sociedades de gest o coletiva como o ECAD) que realizam o repasse aos artistas conforme os acordos estabelecidos entre as partes.
