Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), a European media technology and services partner, today announces a technology partnership with BCNEXXT, a Netherlands-based company specializing in cloud-native systems for linear, VoD, and OTT publishing.

Through this collaboration, BCE has integrated BCNEXXT's Vipe playout solution into its Media-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform, enabling customers to rapidly launch and manage TV channels in a flexible, cost-efficient way.

As broadcasters face increasing pressure to accelerate channel launches and simplify operations, flexible playout solutions have become critical.

Media-as-a-Service (MaaS) is a modular, cloud-based approach that enables media organizations to access, store, manage, process, and distribute content on demand. The platform provides a unified environment to manage content, workflows, and operations across applications and infrastructure, designed to integrate existing systems and support real-world media operations.

With the integration of Vipe, BCE strengthens its MaaS ecosystem by adding advanced playout capabilities accessible directly to customers through its platform.

Vipe is an intelligent playout solution for broadcasters and media content distributors, enabling them to launch channels in just a few hours or days and manage them easily from a single interface. Leveraging adaptive logic and machine learning, it replaces traditional rule-based playout systems with a more intelligent and automated approach. Its pay only for what you play model breaks the conventional link between channels and dedicated infrastructure, enabling significantly reduced resource consumption and lower operational costs.
