Ikegami USA has chosen NAB 2026 in Las Vegas as the launch platform for new additions to its range of broadcast-quality television production equipment. These will include a refinement to the UHK-X700 and UHK-X750 3-CMOS -inch UHD cameras in the UNICAM XE series plus two new 7-inch viewfinders.Celebrating 80 years of success, Ikegami continues to lead the media industry in terms of innovation and excellence, comments Alan Keil, Senior Engineering Fellow. A key strength of Ikegami products is the ease with which they combine into a fully integrated system delivering high signal quality along with unsurpassed creativity, flexibility and easy expandability. That includes IP connectivity for equipment room infrastructure, as well as long distance REMI applications. Visitors to Ikegami NAB Show booth C3819 in the Central Hall will be able to gain hands-on experience with our latest-generation cameras, viewfinders, and camera control units. Production specialists should check out our sample Variable ND function which opens a new vista of imaging versatility. We will also show examples of our broadcast quality HDR monitors which range in size from the 9-inch HLM-960WR to the 31.1-inch HQLM-3120W.
NEW: VND filter function for UHK-X700 and UHK-X750 UNICAM XE portable and full studio cameras
A Variable Neutral Density filter function planned as an option for the UHK-X700 and UHK-X750 series will be previewed at the show. When used as an alternative to the iris, the VND filter allows the lens F-stop to remain fixed to control video exposure, expanding the creative possibilities of video production.
NEW: VFL-P710AD 7-inch LCD viewfinder
The VFL-P710AD is an HD native 7-inch LCD viewfinder with digital and analog connectivity, designed for use with UNICAM XE or UNICAM HD series cameras, depending on the cable type and mode selected. Ideal for indoor and outdoor operations, it offers clear image quality which makes accurate focusing easy. The VFL-P710AD features Ikegami UniMenu integration with the camera, simplifying setup and on-site operation. Test-related tools include a waveform monitor, vectorscope and audio level meter. The VFL-P710AD has a 3G/HD-SDI input and can be used as a field monitor. Tally indicators on the front of the viewfinder allow the camera status to be seen easily by a presenter. A rear-facing tally is also also included.
NEW: Ikegami VFE-P711AD 7-inch OLED viewfinder
Based on the VFL-P710, the VFE-P711AD offers the additional advantage of a high-quality 7-inch OLED panel with very high quality chroma reproduction, high brightness and high contrast ratio, ensuring clear visibility even in environments with high levels of ambient light. The fast response time of the OLED panel is especially useful when capturing content in high frame rate mode where precise focusing and framing are vital.
