Telestream Appoints Joseph Hopkins Chief Revenue Officer

Telestream has appointed Joseph Hopkins Chief Revenue Officer. He has more than two decades of executive experience in media technology. In the role, he will focus on customer engagement, market expansion and aligning Telestream's commercial strategy with the needs of media organizations. He will work with the company's leadership, product and commercial teams on strategic partnerships. Telestream says a key priority is helping customers find new business opportunities and revenue streams, including by applying AI and automation to reduce operational complexity and using data from across the media lifecycle to improve performance and protect content quality.

Hopkins previously helped bring some of the earliest live streams of major sporting events, including the Super Bowl and Olympic Games, to digital audiences at iStreamPlanet. He later held senior leadership positions at Verizon Digital Media Services, then served as Chief Revenue Officer at Make.TV, which was acquired by LTN Global. Most recently, he co-founded Alchemy Creations, a media technology advisory firm.
