Canon Announces Cinema EOS Lens Kits and EOS C50 Videographer Kit

Canon U.S.A. has announced new Cinema EOS Lens Kits and an EOS C50 Videographer Kit. Sales are scheduled to begin in mid-November 2026.

The lens kits pair the EOS C50 or EOS C80 with RF zoom lenses. Canon describes the C50 as its smallest and lightest cinema camera, with a 7K full-frame CMOS sensor. The C80 has a 6K full-frame, back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor with triple-base ISO. The RF 20-50mm lens has power zoom control, and the RF 24-105mm F4 has a constant aperture.

The EOS C50 Videographer Kit adds an Azden shotgun microphone, Azden monitoring headphones, a Hoya variable ND filter, a two-year Canon CarePAK PRO coverage plan and the RF 20-50mm lens. Canon says CarePAK PRO covers accidental drops, spills, power surges and normal wear and tear beyond the standard warranty. The company positions the kits for solo creators, documentarians, small production crews and newcomers to video production or journalism.
