Picture Shop Announces Chris Evans as Head of Unscripted

Picture Shop announced Chris Evans will lead Unscripted at Picture Shop's Newman Street facility in the UK. As managing director, Evans will work closely with the premier talent in London, as well as at Picture Shop's facilities in Manchester, led by managing director Paul Austin, and in Bristol, led by Lauren Ellis Jones, providing clients with creative solutions powered by the industry's latest technologies.
With over 20 years of experience, Chris is uniquely qualified to guide our brilliant Unscripted division here, said Picture Shop President Cara Sheppard. His extensive knowledge and expertise in this area combined with his dedication will benefit our team and our clients.
Evans began his career as a runner at Picture Shop (previously known as The Farm) in the early 2000s, where he quickly ascended through various roles.
What excites me most is the chance to work closely with our talented creative team and clients, driving forward our vision and producing outstanding work, said Evans. We're going to continue to enhance client experiences whether it's integrating new technology or streamlining processes, and our brilliant creative and support team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results.
Recent additions to the Picture Shop technology pipeline for unscripted includes upgrading of its Media Composer offering with brand new thread ripper PCs and investment in its Nexis capacity with new high bandwidth switching fabrics to bring the environment together for high-performance editing, file delivery and customer satisfaction. Picture Shop is currently growing its IO department to bring about greater efficiencies for clients and maintain the company's highest levels of content security.
I see Picture Shop's growth in unscripted driven by both innovation and collaboration, added Evans. We'll continue to boost our post-production offerings to give creatives unmatched solutions.
In addition to its London, Manchester and Bristol facilities, Picture Shop locations in the UK include Wales and Pinewood. Picture Shop is headquartered in Los Angeles, with facilities in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Vancouver.
