OpenDrives Named to 2026 CRN Storage 100 List

OpenDrives has been included in CRN's 2026 Storage 100 list in the Software-Defined Storage category. The annual list, selected by the CRN editorial team, recognizes storage vendors across software-defined storage, data recovery, observability, and resilience.

OpenDrives was recognized for its storage and management products for media-centric environments, including the Atlas data storage and management platform with composable storage licensing; Astraeus, a cloud-native distributed data services platform; and Edge, a hybrid-edge performance accelerator for remote teams.

Recent product updates include unlimited capacity licensing with a flat per-controller software fee; composable feature bundles; hybrid mount and data movement tools via Mount Manager and Edge; a corporate creative solution for video teams and production agencies; and Atlas software version 2.11, due in August 2026, which will add SMB audit management, expanded NFS and SMB monitoring, native Azure Blob mount support, disk prefailure monitoring version 2, and access to the Edge product via the Containers Marketplace.

OpenDrives is also offering remaining stock of its Ultra hardware appliances at 50% off MSRP. The 325TB usable capacity Optimum system is priced at approximately $150,000, including a three-year 24 7 support agreement and access to the Containers Marketplace and Edge product. Units are available while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis with no holds.
