Netflix has released the trailer for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story- the prequel to Bridgerton on Thursday 23 March.

WATCH: QUEEN CHARLOTTE: A BRIDGERTON STORY' TRAILER Netflix and Shondaland released the trailer for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story on Thursday 23 March. The almost-three minute trailer takes viewers back to day Queen Charlotte met her king George for the first time and their love story.

QUEEN CHARLOTTE: A BRIDGERTON STORY' Netflix and Shondaland previously announced the premiere date for Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story 4 May. The Bridgerton-verse prequel tells the story of the queen's rise and love story.
Centered on Queen Charlotte's rise to prominence and power, this Bridgerton-verse prequel tells the story of how the young Queen's marriage to King George sparked both a great love story and a societal shift, creating the world of the Ton inherited by the characters in Bridgerton, reads the logline of the series.
