NAB NY 2026: KOKUSAI DENKI to Show 4K Cameras, Plus New Control Panel and Viewfinder

KOKUSAI DENKI Electric America will show its broadcast cameras, remote control panel, and a new viewfinder at NAB Show New York, Oct. 21-22, at the Javits Center (Booth 430). The company will feature the SK-UHD7000 4K broadcast camera, the DK-H700 box camera, the RU-2500JY remote control panel, and the global debut of the VF-EL20HP broadcast camera viewfinder.

The SK-UHD7000 is a 4K UHD camera system with three 2/3-inch CMOS sensors capturing native 3840 2160 images. Its global shutter technology minimizes flickering and banding associated with LED lighting and large-format displays. The SK-UHD7000-S2 configuration offers an entry point to 4K through an optional license upgrade with instant activation.

The DK-H700 is a multi-format box camera with 2/3-inch CMOS imaging, digital signal processing, and HDR support. It is aimed at sports venues, live event production, broadcast studios, and point-of-view installations.

The DK-H700 can operate standalone or complement the SK-UHD7000 in larger multicamera environments, giving production teams additional flexibility in camera placement and system design without sacrificing the visual consistency essential to professional live productions.

The RU-2500JY remote control panel, which will be demonstrated with the SK-UHD7000, is 82 mm (3.2 inches) wide, allowing five units to be installed side by side in a standard 19-inch rack. It has a 3.5-inch color touchscreen, illuminated controls, a joystick, and dedicated camera shading functions. HDR and SDR controls, color matrix adjustments, and scene file recall support consistency across multicamera productions. It supports serial connectivity and IP-based control via Power over Ethernet (PoE), and a USB interface lets operators store and recall camera configurations.

The VF-EL20HP viewfinder combines a 0.7-inch Full HD OLED eyepiece with a 3.5-inch Full HD flip-out LCD monitor. It includes waveform monitoring, vector scope, and histogram tools, along with customizable focus peaking, exposure aids, framing markers, and direct SDI return monitoring.
