IBC 2026: Chyron to Showcase Sports Workflow Solutions

Chyron will demonstrate its sports analysis, graphics, remote production, virtual production, and venue control solutions at IBC2026 (Booth 7.A23). This year's show marks the company's 60th anniversary.

Sports Analysis

PAINT 10.4, the latest release of Chyron's telestration and illustrated replay platform, adds VaultSync integration for automatic synchronization of team logos, colors, and branding assets; sweep calibration for guided field calibration of 3D graphics; six-input replay allowing simultaneous recording and access to six HD camera inputs; AI Player CutOut for player detection and masking; and the upcoming CamWarp, which uses AI to create transitions between camera angles.

Virtual Placement will showcase its embedded PRIME integration for animated, data-driven, and spatial graphics; runtime chroma key switching between automatic and manual keying; a PGM/ISO comparison workflow for verifying camera calibration before air; and a preview of automatic calibration line detection, which identifies field lines across reference images in approximately 30 seconds.

ZXY Tracking, Chyron's satellite-based tracking system, will demonstrate centimeter-level accuracy and integration with PRIME and Virtual Placement. New PTZ Camera Control enables automated camera operations using positional tracking data, with event-based triggers for specific camera actions based on real-time milestones.

Graphics and Data Display

PRIME Playout Panels allow operators to build customized playout interfaces for live sports, exposing specific data sets, image libraries, and design parameters. LUCI Control Panels bring the same customizable control to PRIME templates in newsroom computer system environments.

PRIME HTML capabilities cover HTML input, output, and native graphics creation, allowing production teams to reuse content across playout environments and deploy templates across locations without dedicated graphics hardware.

PRIME Translate, supported by NVIDIA, allows broadcasters to automatically translate voice, facial movements, and PRIME graphics text into multiple languages for global and multiregional sports production. At IBC, Chyron will demonstrate PRIME Translate working with AI Media to route localized graphics to separate outputs.

PRIME Scorebug consolidates scorebug design, control, and playout within the PRIME platform, synchronizing live data, branding assets, and on-air graphics within a single workflow.

Chyron will also preview URL-based image support, allowing production teams to pull player headshots, logos, and other assets directly from URLs for broadcast use.

Remote Production

LIVE, Chyron's cloud-native live production platform, will showcase an integration with Haivision StreamHub for managing remote video contributions, replay improvements, and AI replay capabilities. New sport-specific user interfaces offer streamlined workspaces with sport-appropriate graphics and controls. LIVE now includes SCTE-35 ad insertion markers and built-in verification reporting for ad delivery confirmation. LIVE is available on the AWS Marketplace with the option to use AWS credits.

Virtual and Augmented Reality

The booth will feature a green screen and LED area showcasing Chyron VSAR workflows for virtual sets and augmented and extended reality, including a preview of VSAR integration with Unreal Engine's native Motion Design. An integration between VSAR and PAINT will demonstrate 3D formation display and tactical analysis in a virtual environment.

Venue Control

Click Effects, Chyron's venue control application, will be on display with demonstrations of fan engagement and monetization workflows used in major stadiums.
