The moon should be jealous, according to the band M neskin in their song Timezone. But can the MOON and its phases really affect you? According to studies, the planetary body can have a profound effect on how your day is going and sometimes even how you sleep.

Can it be dangerous to look at an eclipse?
According to Sciencing.org, only solar (sun) eclipses are dangerous to look directly at. Forbes confirms the same information.
Although a solar eclipse can harm your eyes, a lunar eclipse is perfectly okay to stare at.
The MOON and Insomnia Can the moon affect how you sleep?
According to studies, the answer might be yes.
When at its fullest, the Sleep Foundation says that the cycle might very well make people sleep worse. Moonlight could cause insomnia or make the symptoms of the sleep-related condition a little worse to deal with if you already can't sleep at night.

Science.org says that this might have something to do with the large amount of light it reflects.
During the moon event, the night sky appears brighter. This might even fool the brain into thinking it's still too bright to sleep and this is what starts the loop for insomniacs.
If you think that you sleep any worse during certain times of the month, you would be absolutely right.
How to sleep better during FULL MOON If you can't sleep during the moon, there are some things you can do to sleep better at night.
Draw curtains shut, and make sure that you can't SEE it's full moon.
Cover your eyes when you sleep, so that light can't disturb you.
Change your bedtime, and go to sleep at a different time.
Avoid heavy meals before bedtime.
