Alpha Networks implements Agama DTV Monitoring Solution for cloud-based OTT and IPTV ecosystem MARCH 13, 2014
Agama Technologies, the video service quality assurance expert, today announced that the Belgian IP television specialist Alpha Networks is implementing the Agama DTV Monitoring Solution for its cloud-based TV hosting platform in view of supporting a first, yet undisclosed joint commercial IPTV and multiscreen service deployment.
Alpha Networks provides a complete, end-to-end TV ecosystem around its purpose built OSS/BSS with natively integrated TV portal. It allows an operator to quickly and cost-effectively roll out IPTV and OTT video services, in both linear and on-demand modes, whilst remaining entirely focused on its brand and customers. By integrating Agamas industry-leading solution for continuous and real-time monitoring, assurance and analytics of the end-to-end video delivery chain, with the WeManage component of Alphas platform, Alpha will have full transparency of the service distribution from the head-end to what is actually experienced by each individual viewer. This will support Alpha in proactively managing service quality and customer satisfaction, whilst lowering OPEX and improving customer retention, in its deployments with operators.
