Hangzhou Bay New Zone attracts investments

Recently, the first round of one billion yuan by Leran Investment Management Partnership has been in place for investment in the quality enterprises of the LeTV ecological industrial chain. As is known, as one of the latest achievements for the mass investment attraction campaign of Hangzhou Bay New Zone, which was launched earlier this year, the project was initiated by the Investment Cooperation Bureau of the zone, and has involved such departments as the Financial Service Office, the Industry and Commerce Administration, and the Finance Bureau.

With the new situations, the new zone has carried out new measures for the in-depth mass investment attraction. According to some major leaders of the new zone, all the personnel of the government departments and bureaus are required to give full play to their own functions and advantages on the internet to collect more information on the quality projects in line with the development of the leading industries of the zone, in the hope of extending the business attraction network of the new zone.

The new zone launched the mass investment attraction campaign in January 2016. Besides the Investment Cooperation Bureau, other departments concerned have been assigned with the business and investment introduction tasks for the year. Over the past four months, ten entity projects have been introduced to the new zone, with a total investment of 751 million yuan.

The Investment Cooperation Bureau organized the working group on Wechat involving all the business attracting personnel from all the departments concerned. In March, it started the training program, inviting university professors to give evening classes on industrial research, business negotiation techniques, project information acquisition and tracing, business etiquette, and business English, and conducting interactive exchanges of business attracting personnel, to improve the business attracting skills and project service standard of the personnel on an all-round basis.

The all-involving and diversified business and investment attracting layout has helped to highlight the leading role of the Investment Cooperation Bureau in inviting major projects. According to a person in charge from the bureau, the bureau currently focuses on the business and investment attraction in the advanced manufacturing and modern services industry. They hope to make great breakthroughs in such fields as the Aviation Health Industrial Park, headquarters economy, new materials, and finance. So far, 18 projects have been signed or will be signed, with a total investment of 6.303 billion yuan, including two projects with an investment of over one billion yuan, and 10 with an investment of over 100 million yuan. In addition, 22 financial services enterprises have been introduced, with a total registered capital of 3.75 billion yuan, and it is expected that the fund management scale of these enterprises will exceed 10 million yuan when they are all put into operation.
