Presto takes to the streets and asks Australians to Tag their Empire for a live visual vandalism display

In a very boss move, Presto is now home to the Golden Globe Award-winning, smash-hit series Empire, with every episode of Season 1 now streaming.

To celebrate the arrival of the glistening hip-hop family drama, Presto is inviting Australians to immortalise their inner hip-hop alter ego and submit their hip-hop name (or nickname) to be lawfully vandalised by notorious graffiti street artist Vanderlism. This Friday, Vanderlism will graffiti the submitted names in real-time on an Empire shrine in one of Melbournes busiest intersections, on the corner of La Trobe and Swanston Streets. The art activation will be live-streamed on Prestos Facebook page and images of all submitted hip-hop names will be available shortly after.

The live visual vandalism display titled Tag Your Empire, calls for Australians to visit Presto on Facebook to submit their sassiest hip-hop name (or nickname). Fans can then visit Prestos Facebook page from midday on Friday May 6 and watch Vanderlism tag their name in real-time, creating an epic visual display of Prestos hip-hop loving empire in the heart of Melbournes CBD.

Featuring soundtracks by Executive Music Producer, hip-hop legend Timbaland, Empire follows music mogul Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard - Wayward Pines, Iron Man, Crash), the founder and CEO of notorious record label, Empire Entertainment. When Lucious discovers he only has three years to live, he embodies a hip-hop King Lear and pits his three sons against each other; Andre (Trai Byers), Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Hakeen (Bryshere Gray), in a battle to inherit his throne. But, when Lucious ex-wife Cookie (Taraji P. Henson - The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Hustle & Flow) is released from prison after having served a 17-year sentence for hustling drugs (the profits from which were used by Lucious to start Empire), they realise that they arent the only ones vying for the fortune.
