Future Media Concepts Announces the 07 Editors Retreat Keynotes

Future Media Concepts, the nation's leading training provider and conference organizer in the digital media industry, announced today that two big names will provide the keynotes for Editors Retreat 2017. The first, Dan Lebental, is best known for his work on Iron Man and Thor: The Dark World (2013). The second, Steve Audette, counts over 50 documentary credits, including ones for Frontline, Nova and Nova Science Now, Evolution and the short documentary Nico's Challenge. Now it its 11th year, Editors Retreat will take place in Nashville, TN, on February 18-22, 2017.

This year, we have created a training program that caters to high-caliber attendees by providing the highest level of technical, creative and business development sessions. As our regular Editors Retreat attendees recognize every year, this is a must-attend event if you want to stay ahead in your career, said Ben Kozuch, President and Co-founder of Future Media Concepts.

Dan Lebental is a known Hollywood professional editor who He been editing feature films for more than 20 years, working with some of Hollywoods top movie studios and directors. His versatility across genres includes working on comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries, TV projects and hundreds of music videos.

Steve Audette has been editing for 20 years and his work has contributed to many Emmy Award-winning documentaries, as well as Peabody, Polk and DuPont Columbia Award-winning programs. In 2008 Steve was nominated for an Eddie Award from American Cinema Editors, in the category of Best Documentary Editor for the Frontline documentary Bush's War.

Produced in collaboration with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), Editors Retreat is all about community and about learning how to be the best at your craft. The conference is attended by an intimate group of TV, film and video editors whose work and experience level are vetted prior to registration.
