Musician and producer Zakhele Zakes Bantwini Madida has reportedly lost his father and although not much is known about the cause of death, Zakes bid his father farwell in an Instagram post and simply captioned it with a dove.

Zakes' wife Nandi Madida also took to Instagram to share what her father-in-law meant to her and passed on her condolences to her husband and the Madida family.

ZAKES BATWINI DEVASTATED FOLLOWING FATHER'S DEATH Nandi took to Instagram and wrote, I am eternally grateful by the kindness you showed me as your daughter in Law, you truly made me feel like your daughter in love. You had a wicked sense of humour that we will miss dearly, thank you for making me feel like family and welcoming me so warmly. You are with your creator now .

Nandi also left a comment under Zakes' Instagram post and said, You were so good to your father while he was on this earth, please find comfort in knowing you made his stay here more enjoyable. You were a great son to him my love and I'm sure he's smiling wherever he is, you have gained a powerful ancestor who is with you every step of the way. May you live with no regrets but only fond memories for the beautiful times you had with him. I Love you dearly .

At this stage, it is not known when Zakes' father passed.
