Mengangkat tema Jauh Di Mata, Dekat Di Hati', Astro tampil dengan program penuh keberkatan sempena Aidiladha 1441H

Bersempena dengan sambutan Hari Raya Aidiladha 1441H yang dijangka jatuh pada 31 Julai ini, Astro akan menyajikan pelbagai program menarik buat seisi keluarga, merangkumi program hiburan Islamik bersama tokoh-tokoh Islam negara, telefilem yang menampilkan nama-nama popular tanah air, drama bersiri, serta program kanak-kanak dan siri animasi.
Azlin Reza Azmi, Ketua Saluran Melayu Astro berkata, Saluran-saluran Melayu di Astro sudah sinonim dengan sajian hiburan berterusan, terutamanya pada setiap musim perayaan. Menggalas tanggungjawab sebagai peneraju kandungan hiburan Melayu utama tanah air, Astro tetap dengan tradisinya untuk menyediakan pelbagai sajian nurani yang penuh bermakna dan bermanfaat, sesuai dan relevan buat tontonan masyarakat Islam di Malaysia khususnya bersempena dengan sambutan Hari Raya Aidiladha pada tahun ini. Mesej pengorbanan yang menjadi intipati utama kandungan kami di kesemua saluran Melayu Astro juga dibawakan ke alam maya dengan platform digital kami, My Salam Muslim, bagi pilihan yang lebih fleksibel. Seperti yang diumumkan pihak kerajaan, disebabkan pandemik COVID-19 yang melanda, komuniti Muslim di seluruh dunia tahun ini tidak dapat menunaikan ibadah Haji yang merupakan salah satu tunggak utama bagi mereka yang beragama Islam. Dengan menyediakan pelbagai sajian nurani bagi mengimarahkan kedatangan bulan penuh keberkatan ini, kami berharap bahawa walaupun Tanah Suci Makkah jauh di mata', pengisian bermanfaat dalam program-program istimewa Aidiladha di platform Astro dapat meringankan kerinduan umat Islam dan membuatkan suasana keindahan ibadah Haji itu dekat di hati'.
Antara yang menarik di Astro sepanjang sambutan Hari Raya Aidiladha tahun ini termasuklah Ibrah Qurban (bersama pengacara Fakhrul UNIC) yang bakal disiarkan setiap hari, jam 6.30 petang mulai 24 hingga 31 Julai di Astro Oasis, yang mana ia bakal mengupas erti pengorbanan pelbagai individu untuk memperkayakan kehidupan dan rohani mereka. Juga ditawarkan di Astro Oasis adalah program Demi Pengorbanan (setiap Rabu, jam 7.30 petang, sehingga 30 September) bersama Ustaz Don Daniyal yang bakal menyentuh tentang persediaan seseorang itu sebelum ke Tanah Suci Makkah bagi menunaikan ibadah Haji, serta pandemik COVID-19 yang merubah suasana haji pada tahun ini. Selain itu, Iman & Aman kembali untuk musim keduanya bersama Imam Haji Mohd Akib yang bakal memberikan suntikan kesedaran kepada orang ramai dalam mencari erti barakah dalam kehidupan mereka. Saksikan program ini pada setiap Isnin, jam 7 malam, di Astro Oasis.
NAURA, saluran gaya hidup Muslim moden pula mengukuhkan lagi tema Jauh Di Mata, Dekat Di Hati' dengan program The Days of Hajj (di aplikasi Astro GO), sebuah dokumentari membantu menambahkan pemahaman yang menyeluruh terhadap kisah perjalananan ke Mekah dan Madinah yang merupakan bandar kelahiran Nabi Muhammad SAW. Bakal menemui penonton mulai 24 Julai, jam 10 malam ini, program Labayk Allahuma Labayk menekankan tentang perjalanan para jemaah untuk menziarah tanah suci Mekah serta usaha mereka dalam meningkatkan rasa rendah diri dalam menunaikan ibadah haji. Pada 31 Julai, jam 3 petang penonton boleh menikmati program Journey to Mecca, sebuah dokumentari tentang perjalanan ibadah haji bagi para jemaah yang terdahulu. Pada jam 9 malam pula, saksikan Naura Shares bersama Ajak Shiro di mana beliau akan berkongsi tentang perjalanan beliau menunaikan ibadah umrah bersama isteri dan anak-anaknya.
Tidak ketinggalan juga adalah saluran Astro Ria yang membawakan filem Jumanji: The Next Level' (dibintangi Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, dan Kevin Hart) secara eksklusif di kaca televisyen pada Jumaat, 31 Julai, jam 10 malam. Khas buat pengikut artis BBNU pula adalah koleksi telefilem Raya BBNU yang dibintagi As'ad Motawh, Sweet Qismina, Ismail Izzani, Wany Hasrita, Andi Bernadee, Eric Fuzi, Hanbyul, Syafiq Farhain dan ramai lagi, seperti Batang Buruk Lesung Batu (31 Julai, 10 pagi), Cerita Raya Luar Biasa (1 Ogos, 10 pagi), dan Aku Benci Kpop (2 Ogos, 10 pagi). Peminat lagenda Tan Sri P. Ramlee pula boleh menyaksikan filem Nujum Pak Belalang (31 Julai, 1.30 petang), Pendekar Bujang Lapok (1 Ogos, 1.30 petang), dan Ali Baba Bujang Lapok, (2 Ogos, 1.30 petang). Astro Ria juga bakal menyiarkan dua filem seram dari Indonesia, Syirik, pada 1 Ogos dan Iblis, pada 2 Ogos, jam 11 malam.
Astro Prima pula tampil dengan program bual bicara istimewa Mingguan Wanita bagi Hari Raya Aidiladha, episod bertemakan Masakan Daging Korban' bakal disiarkan pada Selasa, 28 Julai jam 12 tengah hari, manakala episod bertemakan Hikmah Pembatalan Haji' pula akan disiarkan pada Khamis, 30 Julai, juga pada jam 12 tengah hari. Saksikan tribut khas buat pelakon tersohor M. Rajoli seperti filem Quran Buruk (31 Julai), Liang Lahad (1 Ogos) dan Tanah Kubur (2 Ogos), semuanya jam 11 malam. Peminat siri animasi Upin & Ipin juga bakal dihiburkan dengan musim kedua siri pendek Upin & Ipin Iqra mulai 31 Julai hingga 6 Ogos, jam 7 petang!
Di saluran Astro Citra pula terdapat seleksi telefilem hebat tanah air yang bertemakan pengorbanan seperti Selagi Masih Ada (24 Julai), Surga Yang Terluka (25 Julai), Perempuan Lindungan Kaabah (26 Julai) pada jam 9 malam manakala drama Wau Kasih (27 Julai) dan Kalbu Pun Berzikir (28 Julai) pada jam 9.30 malam. Selain dari itu, istimewa buat peminat industri animasi Malaysia, saksikan Ejen Ali The Movie pada 31 Julai jam 11 pagi di Astro Citra! Pada jam 9 malam pula, terdapat filem drama Harim Di Tanah Haram (dibintangi Irwansyah, Sylvia Fully, dan Wawan Wanisar) kemudian nikmati filem aksi blockbuster Furious 7 (dibintangi Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez) pada jam 11.15 malam pula
