LiveU has today announced that it is increasing its presence across the Middle East with the appointment of United Broadcast (UBMS) as regional sales partner.
UBMS is headquartered in Dubai and works across the Middle East and Africa. It operates as industry consultant, systems integrator, sales partner and distributor and represents over 50 brands.
LiveU has changed content gathering forever via the ability to use cellular networks rather than satellite or fibre for live transmission from any location worldwide. LiveU offers a wide range of devices for live video coverage, including mobile backpacks, smartphone apps, satellite/cellular hybrid and external antenna solutions. It also offers cloud-based services that augment its platform.
Peter Kyriakos, Head of Marketing with UBMS, said, We work with professional videographers through to the major broadcasters. We have the full spectrum of clientele and equipment and believe that LiveUs product family, which provides the ability to select a solution that fits a specific use, will really appeal. Its the clear market leader and after careful review our cellular bonding partner of choice. We see a lot of potential across the Middle East with the infrastructure we have in place. The capability to deliver a high quality feed using only cellular networks changes the content gathering dynamic and also the cost.

LiveU will be exhibiting with UBMS on its stand at CABSAT: Hall 1 - B1-10. Its products will also be on show in UBMS Dubai showroom.
