IBC 2026: Solid State Logic TCA Tour

Solid State Logic (SSL) will debut the TCA Tour at IBC2026 (Hall 8, Stand 8.B45), a portable production system built from System T components in a desktop frame designed for remote and distributed production.

TCA Tour features 16 full-size faders, integrated onboard I/O, eight mic/line inputs, four line outputs, headphone monitoring, and a built-in network switch, in a ruggedised frame with a custom mount for a touchscreen and PC running SSL's Tempest Control App. Optional per-fader OLED displays and individual fader metering are available. The system is compatible with System T DSP engines including the TE1, TE2, and Virtual Tempest Engine, as well as SSL's T25 and T80 engines. It natively supports Dante, AES67, and ST 2110 devices.

At IBC2026, TCA Tour will also demonstrate System T V4.3 OSC integration, which allows external systems to control console parameters via the OSC protocol. A new TCA Tour hardware mount accommodates OSC-compliant third-party hardware controllers.

TCA Tour delivers the full capability of System T in a portable, scalable package, says Tom Knowles, Director of Product Management, Solid State Logic. Designed for deployment across remote and distributed production ecosystems, it adapts to cloud, virtualised and other real-world workflows, and can also serve as a temporary second operator position or remote control of a main console. TCA Tour natively supports third party Dante, AES67, and ST 2110 devices, and provides direct AoIP routing, integrated FX processing, and SSL's renowned sound quality to meet the demands of any modern production environment. This enhancement makes TCA Tour even more versatile. TCA Tour already supports fader expansion through SSL's range of System T desktop control tiles. With OSC integration, broadcasters can map System T's extensive feature set to any OSC-compliant device or controller, allowing even more flexible and immediate access to System T functionality.

The V4.3 update also introduces Permanent Path Linking, allowing up to 48 permanent link groups between paths with independent filtering, and SolidPitch, an onboard vocal tuning and processing suite featuring a tuner, doubler, and harmonizer.
