Across the pond, the top-flight soccer league in Denmark the Danish Superliga kicks off its new season on Friday.

Last year was a big one for Danish club soccer as the country's professional association launched its own in-house host broadcast operation called Matchday Production. It's another example of a global trend where professional sports leagues are choosing to centralize their own live game productions.

Partnering with DMC Productions, Matchday Production produced more than 800 matches across Denmark's top football leagues during the 2024-25 campaign, operating a centralized VAR and remote production setup from Matchday HQ in Copenhagen. In this exclusive presentation, Esben Halding, Head of Business Development for Danish League/Matchday Production and Max Andersen, Head of Business Development for DMC Production discuss the partnership between Superligaen and DMC, the advanced remote infrastructure and innovative workflow deployed, the challenges overcome, and future developments.
