SBS Welcomes Back Cup Fever! For The Biggest FIFA World Cup Ever

Santo Cilauro, Ed Kavalee and a host of special guests return for the nightly series on SBS on Demand and YouTube for the FIFA World Cup 2026 SBS is celebrating the world's biggest sporting event by bringing back a true fan favourite, with Cup Fever! returning for the FIFA World Cup 2026 .

Streaming on SBS On Demand every night of the FIFA World Cup and in a landmark first for SBS, the series will also premiere on YouTube each night, meeting Australians wherever they are watching and sharing the World Cup. Cup Fever! will reunite hosts Santo Cilauro and Ed Kavalee in a vodcast format to entertain fans across Australia with their signature blend of sharp analysis, humour and genuine football knowledge.

Produced by masters of comedy, Working Dog (Have You Been Paying Attention?, Thank God You're Here, The Cheap Seats, Utopia), and recorded in front of a live studio audience, the nightly half hour show will see Santo and Ed joined by a host of well-known football identities, beloved comedians and fresh talent.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the biggest in history, and Cup Fever! will deliver the day's games highest highs, lowest lows and biggest laughs across a historic number of matches and host cities.

Ed and Santo match genuine knowledge with sharp comedy and will be the perfect guides through the ups and downs of the world's most anticipated sporting event.

The series brings Australians together each night to share the drama and emotion of the tournament, combining sharp insight and humour with a perspective that reflects the diversity of the game in this country. Streaming on SBS On Demand and, for the first time, on SBS Sport's YouTube channel, Cup Fever! gives Australians more ways to be part of the FIFA World Cup conversation.

Hosts Santo Cilauro & Ed Kavalee said: It's so great to again be part of the official FIFA World Cup broadcaster. In-depth analysis; VAR deep dives and AI-driven match data are all things we won't be covering. However, we can't wait to provide some entertaining coverage around the FIFA World Cup. We will not be voting each other out, not marrying strangers and not living Alone in the wilderness but we will be starting the show with a vivacious foxtrot.

Cup Fever! will premiere on SBS On Demand & SBS Sport YouTube with encore screenings on SBS Viceland during SBS' exclusive broadcast of the FIFA World Cup 2026
