Reality star and businesswoman Melany Mel Viljoen opened up about Twitter users discussing her - on the latest episode of the Real Housewives van Pretoria which aired on KykNet on Thursday 5 January.

MEL VILJOEN: I'M PRIVILEGED THAT WAY' Tammy Taylor Nails SA founder Mel Viljoen was asked how she felt about setting tongues wagging on social media after each episode of the Real Housewives van Pretoria (RHOPTA). She said that it was great that people gave feedback, but she didn't read everything.

I think it's lekker all the people giving feedback. I don't read something into everything, I think many people analyse every single thing. I'm glad there is momentum and that people chat about you, I mean I'm privileged that way, she said.

When asked if she reads all the comments about her on social media she said that she doesn't read the negative stuff.

THE REALITY STAR REVEALS SHE SCANS' THROUGH THE COMMENTS Mel did admit that she scans through the comments on social media.

I'll scan through it now and again. Initially, I scanned through it. And I actually enjoyed it, can you believe it? she said.

It's good when people talk. You should worry when people don't talk about you, she continued.
