(Sydney, Australia, 19 March 2026) Techtel, the creator of inflo , today announced the release of a new web-based production control platform, inctrl . This marks the beginning of a new era in production control systems by making live video part of the browser-based user experience. By combining production controls and live video inside a browser, inctrl gives users the flexibility to produce their shows remotely from anywhere.
inctrl provides customers with a single-pane-of-glass interface that streamlines complex workflows which previously required multiple operators. The platform unifies device control across camera controls, PTZ coordinates, graphics, dynamic branding metadata and production switching. inctrl's intuitive interface reduces operational complexity and enables users of all experience levels to be up and running quickly.
inctrl embraces modern ICT principles and is built 100% on COTS hardware, enabling native deployment on-premises, in private infrastructure, or in the cloud. By integrating with Microsoft Entra for identity and access management, inctrl allows organisations to securely control and manage access to their production environments, including virtual control rooms. As an entirely browser-based platform, inctrl requires no client-side installation making deployment and scaling effortless within your existing IT infrastructure.
We could see that the market was looking for a solution that leveraged their existing investment in desktop computers and IT infrastructure, said Mal Chandler, CEO of Techtel. They didn't want to purchase dozens of proprietary touch panels or custom servers that didn't align with their typical IT refresh cycles. inctrl lets our customers modernise production control without reinventing their entire technology stack.
inctrl introduces virtual control rooms that unlocks dynamic scaling for our customers. Because you don't need to have physical control room spaces, inctrl allows virtually unlimited capacity that can all be used concurrently. Historically, physical hardware capped your capacity; inctrl lets you reclaim, repurpose, and scale based on operational demand rather than infrastructure constraints.
Built with a least-privilege security model, the system introduces a hierarchy of user permissions. This tiered access grants administrators comprehensive control while isolating operators to their assigned virtual control room. This flexibility allows internal teams to manage core system updates independently of Techtel; everything fromcamera presets and graphics templates to the speaker database is fully customer configurable.
inctrl is designed to unify production resources that can be controlled via an API. At launch, it includes native integration with the trailblazing Panasonic KAIROS IP-based production platform, along with direct control of Panasonic and Sony PTZ cameras. On-air graphics is handled with the flexibility of HTML rendering by SPX Graphics and for customers seeking tactile control alongside browser-based workflows, inctrl integrates with the SKAARHOJ PTZ Extreme, a widely adopted platform for unified, custom control surfaces.
The Panasonic KAIROS platform gives inctrl users a unique advantage over traditional mixers due to its ability to support multiple productions simultaneously, added Mal Chandler. With a single KAIROS system, we can produce five or more live broadcasts at once. It really is a game changer and matches the flexibility inctrl provides for simultaneous access - without users ever needing to think about what's happening behind the scenes. inctrl is poised to become a centrepiece for any organisation looking to embrace a future of software-based control, production and IP video-key design principles underpinning all modern production system builds.
