Animayo returns in Gran Canaria for your appointment with the animation, Visual effects and video games El Festival Internacional Animayo prepara ya su onceava edici n en la isla de Gran Canaria, entre el 3 y el 7 de mayo.
En su und cima edici n, el festival internacional Animayo ha conseguido posicionarse en todo el mundo como una de las grandes citas del cine de animaci n, los efectos visuales y el mbito del videojuego, con reconocimiento y colaboraciones internacionales por parte de grandes estudios de animaci n, escuelas internacionales, numerosos espacios culturales y audiovisuales, artistas, directores, distribuidoras y productores.
Animayo fomenta la educaci n y la formaci n audiovisual mediante un amplio programa formativo impartido por ponentes e invitados internacionales de alt simo prestigio y mediante becas a talento en las que invierte m s 25.000 euros al a o para apoyar el talento art stico canario, con el objeto de profesionalizar a un sector en auge. Y es que Animayo es un proyecto muy ligado al futuro profesional, bajo el convencimiento de que en Canarias surgir n grandes talentos y directores de las artes audiovisuales. Con su actividad enmarcada dentro del Sistema Educativo Animayo , ha creado un laboratorio creativo para la detecci n y desarrollo del talento audiovisual que desarrolla durante todo el a o para profesores y alumnado de centros educativos de primaria, secundaria, bachillerato, grados medios y superiores.
Durante estos diez a os han pasado por Animayo m s de 40.000 estudiantes de primaria, secundaria y bachillerato, 30.000 estudiantes de ciclos formativos, escuelas de artes y universitarios, 18.000 adultos aficionados y profesionales de la industria.
Por eso es ineludible que en su cita anual en Gran Canaria volvamos a contar con masterclass, workshops, ponencias, talleres, presentaciones, mesas de debate adem s de proyecciones y su secci n oficial a concurso. Estas actividades tienen en Animayo un peso tan o m s importante que las proyecciones tradicionales que suceden en un festival. Se trata de animar a los asistentes a conocer y saber, a participar de todas las posibles manifestaciones art sticas, entornos creativos multiplataforma, los ltimos avances del sector audiovisual y a convertirse en el futuro de la animaci n.
International projection
Animayo ha abierto sus puertas m s all de Gran Canaria y actualmente se desarrolla en 4 sedes oficiales: Gran Canaria, Madrid, Lanzarote y Los ngeles, California. Adem s de sus sedes oficiales Animayo recorre el mundo con su versi n Animayo Itinerante en diferentes regiones como Sevilla, Huesca, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Tenerife y en pa ses como Uruguay, Italia, Holanda, Alemania, Portugal e India donde por su labor recibi un homenaje en Boollywwod (Bombay), ciudad donde se concentra la industria cinematogr fica de la India.
En esta edici n Animayo da un paso m s hacia potenciaci n de la industria creando el Primer Foro Europeo de Coproducci n de Animaci n, Efectos Visuales y Videojuegos de Gran Canaria. A trav s de este foro Animayo pretende favorecer los encuentros entre creadores, productores, distribuidores y otras empresas relacionadas con este sector del audiovisual tanto para el cine como para la televisi n y nuevas plataformas. En el foro toma especial relevancia el apoyo institucional de Gran Canaria que dedica un cap tulo importante en la promoci n de los incentivos fiscales para acoger en la isla producciones y rodajes.
Con este foro Animayo cierra el c rculo que lleva desde el talento por descubrir a los profesionales en activo. Las sesiones de pitching del foro ser n otro elemento fundamental dentro del programa, donde cada proyecto elegido dispondr de 40 minutos para presentarse ante socios potenciales.
