Actualmente, la producci n virtual y los sets virtuales son una de las tecnolog as m s disruptivas implementadas en la industria. Sin embargo, sta t cnica ha existido durante a os siendo Avatar un ejemplo perfecto cuando James Cameron quiso experimentar con motion capture y usar entornos digitales para recrear Pandora. Hoy en d a, las producciones virtuales han cambiado tanto las reglas del juego, que con el uso de pantallas LED en el set y fondos virtuales renderizados en tiempo real, todo se puede cambiar sobre la marcha, como fue el caso de la serie de televisi n, The Mandalorian.

Espa a no se queda atr s en este mbito. Varias empresas del sector ya utilizan y se especializan en el mundo de las producciones virtuales, y en nuestra 26 edici n del D a 3D contaremos con los profesionales m s destacados en este tema.

Este a o 2021, el D a 3D ser celebrado de forma diferente teniendo en cuenta las condiciones actuales. La Academia de Cine vuelve a ser el lugar de encuentro, dando inicio a la jornada profesional a las 18:00.
