nablet Releases Avid Media Acce Plug-ins

nablet, a leading provider of media processing technologies, announced today that it has released a suite of plug-ins to support the workflow of professional Sony video formats for the Avid MediaCentral Platform via Avid Media Access. nablet assumed Sony AMA plug-in development to ensure continuous improvement. The nablet AMA plug-ins for Sony allow users to link, play and edit Sony's XAVC/XDCAM and SRMASTER formats including the new X-OCN format. Furthermore, they will allow export of XAVC and SR SStP (MPEG-4 SStP) formats throughout the MediaCentral Platform.

One advantage is accelerated XAVC export to enhance the performance of the workflows. Today customers are benefitting from the nablet XDCAM XAVC plugin's wider choice of XAVC export profiles and bitrates to accelerate their workflows.
