Arisu and Usagi take on the life-or-death games once more. One card remains: the Joker. What secrets does it hold?

The long-awaited third season of the global hit survival drama Alice in Borderland premieres on September 25, diving back into the thrilling series adapted from Haro Asos popular comic. Once again directed by Shinsuke Sato, Season 3 stars Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya, along with an exciting lineup of new and returning actors. Koji Ohkura, Risa Sudou, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu, Kento Kaku, and more join returning actors Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, and Katsuya Maiguma.

Its time to return to the Borderland... In the previous season, Arisu and Usagi cleared every cards game and returned to the real world. Now married, they lead a happy life, though their memories of the Borderland surface only in dreams and hallucinations. One day, Usagi suddenly vanishes. Guided by Ryuji, a man who studies the afterlife, she sets out for the Borderland. A devastated Arisu is visited by Banda, now a Borderland resident, who informs him of Usagi's whereabouts. Arisu must now follow her back into inevitable danger to find her.

Upon his return, Arisu faces a barrage of fire arrows and electric currents powerful enough to fry victims alive. Will he find Usagi and return to their world? What awaits them and the other players - hope or despair? With only the Joker card remaining, the game it holds for Arisu and the others remains a mystery. The Borderland returns on an even grander scale, with stunning visuals that will captivate viewers.

The newly unveiled teaser poster depicts Usagi and Arisu desperately reaching out to one another, conveying the haunting atmosphere of the Borderland. The art captures the essence of a world that serves as a boundary between life and death, evoking a sense of dread for the potential fate that may await them.

The trailer showcases some of the newly announced cast members: Tetsu screams ominously, while the blue-haired Rei gives a daring smile. Kazuya aims his gun like a predator who knows it has caught its prey - but who is in his sights? Finally, Kento Kaku plays Ryuji, a pivotal character this season. Will he be a friend or foe? The deceptions and deadly battles reach thrilling new heights in Season 3.

STORY

After Usagi is abducted and left unconscious by a mysterious scholar obsessed with the afterlife, Arisu returns to the perilous "Borderland" to save her. Teaming up with new players, they must face the yet-unseen "Joker" stage in a desperate bid to find a way back to their original world.
