Berlin, August 5, 2025 - When Mavi (Beritan Balc ), who grew up in Hamburg, receives a trip to Turkey as a gift from her boyfriend Can (Sinan G le ), she is overjoyed - finally, she can get to know the country where her parents were born and dive into the metropolis of Istanbul! What she doesn't know: Can actually wanted to use the trip as an opportunity to propose, but his first attempt at popping the question went completely wrong. And in Istanbul, there's another surprise waiting for her: a family she never knew she had - an influential business dynasty that already has plans for their newly discovered heiress.

The German-Turkish romcom She Said Maybe whisks audiences away to dazzling Istanbul and picturesque Cappadocia starting September 19 - perfect late summer entertainment, full of drama and heart! The first photos now reveal the cast, including lead actress Beritan Balc as well as Sinan G le , the German-Turkish film and TV star Serkan ayo lu (already well known in Turkey), Caroline Daur, Cansu Tosun, Mehmet Ate i, and Meral Perin.

After a failed marriage proposal, Mavi, who grew up in Germany, discovers that she is part of a super-rich Turkish dynasty in dazzling Istanbul. Now she has to come to terms with her huge new family, led by a tradition-conscious grandmother she never even knew existed-the culture clash is perfect! Mavi must find a balance between her old life in Hamburg and her new Turkish dream world, between her new family and her boyfriend Can.
