RT has revealed the nominees for the 2023 RT Sport Awards which will be broadcast live on RT One and RT Player at 9.30pm on Saturday December 16. Hosted by Joanne Cantwell and Darragh Maloney the awards will acknowledge the achievements of some of the best in Irish sport in the RT Sport Young Sportsperson of the Year, RT Sport Team of the Year, RT Sport Manager of the Year and RT Sport Sportsperson of the Year as well as inducting one Irish sportsperson to the RT Hall of Fame.

The 2023 inductee to the RT Sport Hall of Fame will be announced during the live programme on Saturday night. An independent panel of expert judges from across the Irish sporting media and performance world will select the winners in each category.
