dzjinius, the all-in-one production management platform for the media and entertainment industry, will showcase its new application, dzjinius on-set , at IBC2026, taking place at RAI Amsterdam from 11 14 September. Designed for 2nd Assistant Directors, Script Supervisors and Heads of Production, the tablet-first mobile application brings real-time data capture and operational visibility directly to the studio floor. Visitors can see dzjinius on-set alongside the company's full production management platform on stand 1.B01.

Built as a native extension of the dzjinius platform, dzjinius on-set addresses a long-standing challenge in scripted production. While production offices operate on structured, connected data, that structure is often lost once information reaches the set, where teams rely on spreadsheets, messaging, standalone apps and handwritten notes. This disconnect leads to delays, duplicated work and inaccuracies in reporting. dzjinius on-set closes this loop by ensuring that what is planned in the office flows seamlessly to set, and what is captured on set flows straight back into the system without manual re-entry, and is designed to extend into post-production workflows, with structured feeds and meta-data to post planned

Designed as a tablet-first, mobile application, dzjinius on-set enables teams to capture production data in real time during the shooting day rather than retrospectively. This includes daily reports, schedule tracking and scene-level information, all recorded in a structured format that remains connected to the full workflow, from pre to post production.

Unlike PDF-based markup tools, which attach notes to static documents, dzjinius on-set works directly with live production data. Its upcoming annotation layer will link notes to structured entities such as scenes, schedules and characters, an architecture already engineered into the platform, so information remains accurate and traceable even as schedules evolve or versions change.

The application is built to function in demanding production environments, with online-first performance and offline capability for locations with limited connectivity. It is particularly suited to continuing drama, while also supporting high-end drama, limited series and feature film production.

dzjinius on-set bridges the gap between office systems and on-set reality by connecting the studio floor directly to the production database. What happens on set is no longer lost, delayed or duplicated. It becomes part of a single, reliable source of truth for the entire production.
