Omnitek continue Asia-Pacific growth and shows Ultra 4K Tool Box Audio software release at Inter BEE Tokyo 2015

BASINGSTOKE, UK. November 12th 2015 Leader of its field, Omnitek will be showing the new v2.1 audio' software release for the Ultra 4K Tool Box, its UHD Test & Measurement solution for 12G-SDI, at Inter BEE this year on the TechnoHouse booth 5402, hall 5 in Tokyo, Japan from 18th to 20th November.

Amongst the many new features, the v2.1 software release brings: audio support, which includes the analysis and generation of up to 16 channels of embedded audio, PPMs and audio metadata display. An ANC Watch' display sits alongside the ANC Viewer and DataView displays to provide a count of ANC packet presence and link occurrence. Other new features include AFD anamorphic support, pass-through audio routing, a new HexView display, User Interface over SDI & DisplayPort and support for video proxy over IP.

Omnitek's highly successful, first to market, Ultra 4K Tool Box has been designed to meet the needs of manufacturers, broadcasters, telcos and integrators to allow them to develop products, test new workflows and prove 4K / UHD concept designs with confidence.

The purpose-built Ultra meets current and future requirements of 4K / UHD test and measurement for SDI (quad-link 3G, dual 6G, 12G), DisplayPort & HDMI video and also supports all existing SD, HD and 3G formats. Its software/FPGA architecture and modular implementation means that customers can benefit from future technological advancements that will be made as the shape of the 4K / UHD technological landscape becomes clearer.

Omnitek is actively working with manufacturers in Asia-Pacific both on its consultancy side and on its T&M side to ensure that 4K / UHD products are delivered on time. Omnitek's IP (intellectual property) is already in use in a number of 4K UHD products being manufactured by companies in Asia-Pacific countries and Omnitek has sold a significant number of its Ultra 4K Tool Box units to manufacturers to allow them to design and test the 4K / UHD 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI products they are developing.
