A Love Island' spinoff is reportedly in the works.

But, instead of young, sexy singletons, the contestants will all be middle-aged single parents.

LOVE ISLAND SPINOFF ANNOUNCED ITV recently announced the launch of another reality dating show but with a twist.

The Romance Retreat will feature single parents of different ages, Glamour UK reports.
The casting call-out reads: This is the ONLY dating show where single parents can search for love, by spending time in a luxury retreat, where all the parents have been nominated by their grown-up children.
MIDDLE-AGED CONTESTANTS WANTED According to reports, contestants will be the middle-aged, single parents the grown-up version of the UK's hottest romantic reality show.

Glamour UK reports that Davina McCall, the former Big Brother presenter, has spoken of how she pitched an idea of a mid-life Love Island' to ITV with hopes of presenting it. I'm begging ITV to let me present mid-life Love Island, she said during her interview on the podcast Diary Of A CEO.
I could fill a villa in Love Island with middle-aged people with the best back stories you have ever heard in your life, she reportedly said.
They've lived a life - they're widows, they're people who have been through horrific divorces. They are people who have split up with somebody and decided they want to try going out with somebody the same sex as them. They're like interesting people. I'd watch that show, she said.
She did not share whether her proposal was successful. They said, We're looking at something else that's quite similar, we might consider you for that, Glamour UK reports.
In July 2022 The Sun reported that ITV would launch a mid-life dating show with contestants coupled up' behind the scenes by their kids.
