South Africa's pride and joy the Ndlovu Youth Choir is set to represent the country and fly our flag high once again in the U.S.

The treasured musical group announced on Instagram on Tuesday 10 January that it has been selected as one of the top 60 acts of all time to perform on America's Got Talent: All-Stars.

NDLOVU YOUTH CHOIR TO LIGHT UP AMERICA'S GOT TALENT: ALL STARS' STAGE Making the exciting announcement, the Ndlovu Youth Choir said that it looks forward to sharing the stage with talented performers from around the world.

With more than 70 local versions of Got Talent produced across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, AGT: All-Stars brings together the most beloved and memorable contestants from across the globe for one of the toughest competitions yet. The best of the best will return to the stage to showcase their talent. the group wrote as it quoted Simon Cowell.

-- FIRST CHOIR TO REACH FINAL ON AGT' OR BGT' This will not be the first time that the group from Limpopo will be on the America talent show.

In 2019, the Ndlovu Youth Choir's incredible run on America's Got Talent (AGT) season 14 made them the first choir in the history of either America's Got Talent or Britain's Got Talent (BGT) to reach the final.

After impressing in the final, Simon Cowell labelled the performance The best final I have ever sat on in my life . The music mogul went on to sign the choir and together with SYCO and Sony Music they released their first album, which debuted at number one on iTunes.

The choir, which was founded in 2009, is also famous for its fresh and energetic renditions of internationally well-known songs Toto's Africa, Kygo's Higher Love, U2's Beautiful Day and Ed Sheeran's Shape of You.
