99.9 The Fan & 620 The Ticket to deliver Play-by-play games for local Triangle teams
Sports Radio 99.9 The Fan and partnering station 620 the Ticket will broadcast live play-by-play for all games that include NC State, Duke and UNC in this years ACC Baseball Championship Wednesday through Sunday from the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, NC
Starting Wednesday, May 23, 2018, a total of nine games will air on Capitol Broadcasting owned sports stations, with six during this week airing on 620 The Ticket. The other three games, both Semi-Finals on Saturday and the Championship Game on Sunday will air on 99.9 The Fan regardless if a local team is playing. All games audio will stream at WRALsportsfan.com and the WRALsportsfan App.
Dennis Glasgow, 99.9 The Fan VP of Programming says, It is our pleasure to bring as much live content as possible over the next five days with our ACC Baseball coverage to everyone in The Triangle. We have an excellent arsenal of announcers lined up to bring our listeners and baseball fans the very best play-by-play and analysis from the ACC Baseball Championship at DBAP.
The Announcers for the broadcasts will be; Adam Gold from 99.9 The Fan, Michael Lananna from Baseball America, and local area announcers Dave Nathan and Chris Edwards. The ACC Baseball Championship will also be covered daily with extensive coverage from company partners WRALsportsfan.com & WRAL-TV.
WCMC-FM/99.9 The Fan is currently the flagship radio station for the Carolina Hurricanes and the Carolina Panthers, with ESPN being its primary network programming partner.
99.9 The Fan is part of a very extensive and impressive list of audio platforms for Capitol Broadcasting in the Raleigh-Durham market. This includes Buzz Sports Radio (WCMC-HD2) 620 The Ticket (WDNC-AM) along with live video streaming of local programs on WRALSportsFan.com, the WRALsportsfan App, Roku, Amazon Firestick and AppleTV on the WRAL-TV 5 #OTT App.
