InfoComm 2018: FOR-A to Showcase Video Switcher, Sports Replay and Graphics Technologies

At the upcoming InfoComm Show in Las Vegas, worldwide industry-leading manufacturer FOR-A will demonstrate video production solutions ideal for corporate video, worship, sports and live production scenarios.

FOR-A's booth lineup includes the HVS-490 and HVS-100 HANABI switchers, ClassX content creation and graphics playout solution, and the Variant Systems Group's Envivo Replay sports and live event replay solution. InfoComm takes place June 6-8, and FOR-A will exhibit in booth C3475.

One focus of FOR-A's InfoComm booth is its cost-effective video switchers. The company will demo the HVS-490 and HVS-100 units. The HVS-490 is one of the newest units in FOR-A's long line of HANABI video switchers. Offering exclusive features, including MELite technology, which extends the switcher's 2 M/Es to offer 6 M/E performance, the HVS-490 opens the door to more affordable 4K production. The compact HVS-490 production switcher is designed for use in any live environment, including mobile shoots, events, and in-house corporate productions. The switcher provides users with event memory and macro functions, as well as integrated frame synchronizers and multi viewers - making it easy to set up quickly for live performances. The HVS-100 portable video switcher offers exceptional cost performance. Features of the unit include mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronizing, re-sizing engine, a built-in Web server, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE, Chroma keyer and DSK.

At the show, FOR-A will also demo the ClassX solution of 2D/3D character generation and live motion graphics and playout software integrated with the company's video switchers. ClassX's premium graphics suite of solutions is popular with universities, digital signage, live event, and sports production applications. FOR-A is the exclusive distributor of ClassX in North, Central and South America.

FOR-A will also highlight its new partnership with Variant Systems Group in its InfoComm booth.
