Labor Unions in Yuyao Establishing Coordinating Labor Relations System

According to the General Labor Union of Yuyao City, in order to address the problems still existing in enterprises including delayed payments and non-payment of insurance premium for employees, unions at all levels in Yuyao will devote themselves to establishing a coordinating labor relations system to earnestly safeguard the legal rights of employees.

It is reported that the General Labor Union of Cixi City will adopt organization forms at four levels to implement the management of coordinating labor relations: county, town, enterprises within jurisdictions and individuals including coordinators and group leaders. By the end of 2016, work concerning personnel arrangement and perfection of regulations will be completed by supervision committee of labor law from the General Labor Union of counties, towns and villages while by the end of 2019, more than 90 percent of enterprises will establish their own supervision committee of labor law as well as carry out work to handle disputes on labor relations at an early stage.

Meanwhile, the General Labor Union of Yuyao City will help perfect the work concerning management of potential conflicts in labor relations within enterprises, mediation of socialized labor disputes, supervision on implementation of labor laws and access to legal aid, thereby managing labor relations in a well-defined way. In the future, new members including coordinators for labor relations, mediators for labor disputes, supervisors for implementation of labor laws, volunteer lawyers and psychological consultants will join the team to help harmonize labor relations and solve labor disputes.

Besides, the General Labor Union of Yuyao and Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau will make concerted efforts to build an information platform for labor security supervision, thereby sharing information and taking joint actions.
