RT Media Sales has announced Three Ireland, as the new sponsor of 2FM Drive with Doireann Garrihy on RT 2FM.
Broadcasting weekdays from 3pm to 6pm Doireann's new solo radio show will feature a mix of the best in 2FM music, entertainment updates, and feel-good vibes to power the evening commute. The show aims to engage listeners with a blend of music and regular features, creating a fun and lively atmosphere for the commute home.
Brokered by Core, the 12-month 2FM sponsorship includes 10 x 10-second sponsor-credited stings per show, sponsor-credited promos across the 2FM seven-day schedule, promotions, outside broadcasts, listen-back and homepage sponsorship.
Aislinn O'Connor, Marketing Director, Three Ireland said, We are delighted to support this new show and wish Doireann and the team at 2FM great success. At Three, we have music and entertainment in our DNA and as Ireland's fastest 5G network, this is a perfect partnership to connect us to 2FM listeners all over the country. With 99% nationwide coverage, we remain committed to providing our customers with the greatest network for streaming radio, music, movies and more.
Tara Farrell, Sponsorship Manager RT Radio said: To launch a brand new radio show with such a high calibre sponsor in place is a huge endorsement of both 2FM as a national radio station and Doireann Garrihy as a radio presenter.
Alex Culligan, Head of Media Sponsorship, Core said, At Zenith, part of Core, we focus on finding ways for brands to connect with engaged audiences while ensuring a strong brand synergy. Three's sponsorship of 2FM Drive with Doireann Garrihy allows them to reach a national audience through high frequency mentions, giving them the platform to showcase their strong product offering to both new and existing customers in a competitive space.
