Cuando and Wuaki.Tv Summer Camp premiered in cinemas and Internet Es la primera vez que la plataforma de VOD, Wuaki.tv, realiza una acci n de este tipo y se enmarca dentro de la estrategia de la compa a de empezar a ofrecer pel culas que muy recientemente se han estrenado en las salas de cine.
El pr ximo 10 de junio se estrena en cines, de la mano de Filmax, la pel cula de terror, Summer Camp, pera prima de Alberto Marini (guionista de While you sleep and nominated for the Goya for the script of The unknown) quien firma tambi n el guion junto a Danielle Schleif.
Tan solo dos semanas despu s, el 24 de junio, Summer Camp se estrenar en la plataforma de v deo bajo demanda, Wuaki.tv.
Es la primera vez que la plataforma de VOD, Wuaki.tv, realiza una acci n de este tipo y se enmarca dentro de la estrategia de la compa a de empezar a ofrecer pel culas que muy recientemente se han estrenado en las salas de cine.
El modo de consumir entretenimiento ha cambiado y se fija en un nuevo contexto en el que el espectador decide c mo, cu ndo y d nde quiere disfrutar de un contenido. Es por este motivo que la relevancia de las compa as de VOD a nivel mundial est creciendo exponencialmente. Wuaki.tv, con sede en Barcelona, est presente en 10 pa ses europeos y cuenta con m s de 2'2 millones de suscriptores solamente en Espa a.
La pel cula est protagonizada por Diego Boneta, Jocelin Donahue, Maiara Walsh y Andr s Velencoso. El proyecto est apadrinado por Jaume Balaguer , quien debuta con esta pel cula en la producci n ejecutiva.
Summer Camp brings together producers of [REC], Annabelle, and Expediente Warren (The Conjuring) para ofrecer al espectador un aut ntico festival de terror y adrenalina.
En los ltimos meses, Summer Camp ha sido seleccionada para participar en los festivales fant sticos y de terror m s importantes del mundo: Busan International Film Festival- BIFF (Corea del Sur), Festival Internacional de Cine Fant stico de Catalunya (Sitges), Film4 FrightFest (Londres), Gerardmer Film Festival (Francia), Fantasy Filmfest White Nights (Alemania), Trieste Science + Fiction. Festival de la Fantascienza (Italia), Semana de Cine Fant stico y de Terror de San Sebasti n y Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival- BIFFF (Bruselas), entre otros. Su periplo de festivales a n no ha terminado. FANT Bilbao y Nocturna, Festival Internacional de Cine Fant stico de Madrid, servir n de colof n previo al estreno de la pel cula.
In addition Summer Camp se ha estrenado ya en salas de USA y M xico, pa s este ltimo donde ha sido vista por 700.000 espectadores.
