The annual #AFDA festival is a perfect opportunity not only to showcase the school as an institution, but is an ideal moment in a student's career path to show their work to the industry. It is a vital moment for the students as it is their final year end exam where they are assessed by the public. This moment is a culmination of talent enjoyed by all and the time we all look forward to. says Franco Human, AFDA Durban Dean.Monday 23 November

After a frosty reception and disastrous broadcast on his starting day, quirky young daytime television-producer Nathan Fuller tirelessly tries to rescue a troubled lunch-time news show from cancellation. An act of sabotage is committed by power-hungry anchorman Khaya Gumede in order to establish dominance, and Nathan and his director Zandile Pae anxiously attempt to unite a despondent crew in order to convince higher-ups to keep The Lunch Report going. Just as things start to look up, Khaya's antics again upset the crew and gets everyone into panic. Fortunately, Nathan's quick-thinking and pro-activity eventually allows TLR Studios to see another day.
